De Studio
We design and manufacture custom light fixtures with an industrial approach and a sustainable conviction.

De Studio was founded by Tim Hooijmans and Kay Hooijmans to have complete control over the design, engineering, and manufacturing of custom light fixtures, without relying on established brands or third-party manufacturers. We are located in The Netherlands and specialize in making light fixtures in series, all made in Europe. Our small and dedicated team is committed to sustainability and uses an industrial and scalable approach. Our fixtures are constructed without glue, paint, coatings, or welding and are completely repairable, easy to recycle and repurpose. We are proud to be transparent and honest in our processes. Nothing to hide, relentlessly honest.
